Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data SEAKNOW collects, why it is processed, how long it is retained, and the rights available to you.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller responsible for your personal data is Safe Scan, EU VAT ID PL7772992672, located at ul. Juliusza Słowackiego 55/1, 60-521 Poznań, Poland (“Controller”, “we”, or “us”). You can contact us regarding your privacy at [email protected].

2. Data We Collect and How We Use It

Because our Service operates without user accounts, we collect only the data necessary to provide it. Contact data includes your email address, used to deliver the final report, send payment receipts, and provide customer support. Input data includes the prompts and queries you submit to generate a research report. Transaction data is processed by Stripe; we receive payment confirmation, billing details, and your email address, but do not see or store credit card numbers. Analytics and usage data, such as your IP address and browser type, may be collected through Google Analytics to help us improve the Service.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following lawful bases: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) to generate and deliver your report and process payment; legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to maintain Website security and server operations; consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for non-essential cookies such as Google Analytics; and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) to retain billing records for tax and accounting purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the Service: Contabo for hosting on servers located within the EU; Stripe for secure payment processing; OpenRouter and Google Gemini for report generation, to which prompts are sent securely through APIs; and Google Analytics (Alphabet Inc.) for analytics. AI API providers are generally restricted from using your input data to train their models.

5. Data Retention

To provide ongoing access to purchased reports, we store your email address and generated reports indefinitely, unless you explicitly request their deletion. Transaction and billing records are retained for 5 years to comply with Polish and EU tax laws.

6. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data, including your email address and generated reports; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent, including consent to analytics cookies, at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO) in Poland.

7. Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Website. Analytics cookies are placed on your device only if you consent through our cookie banner. You can manage or revoke your consent at any time through the preferences available on the Website or by clearing your browser cookies.
